Chessington World of Adventures was originally opened as a zoo before being bought and expanded by The Tussauds Group. The expansion included the building on the theme park for which it is now arguably more famous. There are now over 40 rides and attractions at Chessington World of Adventures, some tailored towards adrenaline junkies whilst others are more family friendly. The Hotel
With sections of the property dating back to the 13th Century the White Hose Dorking is steeped in history. The White Horse began life as a coaching Inn but, over the years, has undergone a number of extensions and refurbishments. Our most recent refurbishment has brought the interior of the hotel into the 21st Century but without masking any of the history of the building. Our bedrooms have undergone a stylish revamp and the restaurant and bar on-site have also been modernised. We have a variety of rooms to choose from when you stay with us, available in different sizes to suit your requirements. A short stay may only require one of our smaller (but still generously sized!) rooms, whereas, for a longer stay, you may be more comfortable in one of our luxurious suites. Each have been tastefully decorated and furnished to be as comfortable as possible. Our goal is for you to feel as though you are at home. Our hotel staff will go out of their way to help you in any way possible including helping to arrange travel to and from Chessington World of Adventures or any of the other nearby attractions.

Not only is our hotel great for overnight or longer stays we also have much more going on. Our on-site restaurant, The Dozen, serve up expertly prepared, local produce for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are very lucky to be situated near some fantastic local producers and take immense pride in cooking delicious meals using these ingredients. We also ensure that every guest is catered for from a dietary perspective and have numerous vegetarian and vegan choices on our menus. If you have any dietary requirements, please do let us know in advance so we can ensure we can be as prepare as possible for your stay. No matter whether you’re a vegan or a meat eater or if you would like a tapas style meal or a more traditional a la carte we have it all covered. For larger parties you may also want to consider our private dining space which is available to hire.
We are also very pleased to work in partnership with Dorking Sports Centre, meaning we are able to offer our guests the opportunity to use their fantastic facilities if you just can’t miss a gym session!
