The Epsom Downs Racecourse is a Grade 1 racecourse which has been hosting racing events for many years. Most famous for the Derby, the racecourse can hold a crowd of around 130,000 (taking into account viewers from the Downs themselves). The races at Epsom racecourse have been drawing large crowds for a number of years, many of whom require overnight accommodation (or even longer if you want to take some time in our beautiful part of the world. The White Horse is an historic property set in the centre of the town of Dorking. Parts of the building date back to the 13th Century when it started life as a coaching inn. In more recent time, the property has undergone a comprehensive and beautiful refurbishment which offers stylish sleeping accommodation, a fantastic on-site restaurant and a bar.
